Volunteer for the 2010 winter games
Thank you Whistler alpine volunteers for all of your support and efforts during the 2007/2008 season. With less than two years to the 2010 Winter Games we are looking for skilled alpine volunteers like you to fill critical volunteer roles. If you did not get a chance to complete your application form to volunteer for the Games at one of the kiosks set-up during the 2008 World Cup in Whistler you can still get involved.
To volunteer for the 2010 Winter Games, you must fill out a Games-time volunteer application form located at www.vancouver2010.com or Workopolis.com
In 2009, Whistler will play host to the 2009 International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Alpine World Cup Finals! This event is another excellent opportunity to be involved in the Games. To volunteer for this event, you must fill out a Games-time volunteer application form at www.vancouver2010.com or Workopolis.com. Remember to check “yes” when asked if you are interested in volunteering for Sport Events on the volunteer application form - this will ensure your name gets added to the list for the IPC Alpine WC Finals.
What can you expect?
- September 2008 we will begin selection and scheduling for the 2009 alpine events
- Regular updates on the 2008/2009 events will be available at www.whistleralpinevolunteers.com
- Fall 2008 the Games-time volunteer recruitment committee will begin phone interviews with Games-time volunteer applicant
